I’ve been injured / not feeling well etc., should I still run?

Please seek advice directly from your GP regarding this matter, as The Brighton Marathon Team are not qualified to advise on this issue.

You can also read through the medical advice on our website, complied by our Medical Director – this information can be found on our website and your Participant Instructions, which will be issued to you in the weeks preceding the event.

If your GP would like to speak with a member of our team they are able to do so. The contact details can be found within the medical advice in the Participant Instructions. Please note that they will only respond to a registered health professional.

Where is the Beach Village located?

The Beach Village is located on Brighton Beach, east of Brighton Palace Pier, and is adjacent to the finish line on Madeira Drive.

Do you have a mobile app for the event?

The mobile app will be available to download closer to the event from Google Play and the iTunes store. Please search for Brighton Marathon.

Your supporters will be able to track your progress around the route, keep up to date on all event news, and find lots of spectator information.

Can I buy official Brighton Marathon Weekend clothing / merchandise?

Are there any VIP facilities?

There is an American Express Hospitality Area at the start of the event in Preston Park, available only to Brighton Marathon participants who purchased their entry with an American Express card. These people will be sent information about access.

Can I buy an 'In Training' t-shirt for Brighton Marathon or BM10k?

Yes, of course. Simply head here: https://raceroster.com/store/15643/listing. You will be asked for your confirmation number so make sure you have that to hand or contact [email protected]!

How sustainable is the event?

How do I book a massage?

You can will be able to pre-book your Event Weekend massage in the next few months.

Massages will be available to book for Friday 18th and Saturday 19th September, taking place within the Brighton Marathon Weekend Beach Village.

I need to change my details (address, email address and/or phone number)

You can change most of your personal details on your account by accessing your account via: https://raceroster.com. Once logged in, please select the drop down  in the top right corner, and then ‘Participant Dashboard’, from here you can update your details.

In order to change details on your existing registration, you will need to email us in order to request this change.

When will the event take place?

The 2020 Brighton Marathon Weekend will take place from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th September 2020.
The Brighton Marathon, BM10k and BM Ride will all take place on Sunday 20th, whilst the Mini Mile Races will take place on Saturday 19th. The Brighton Marathon Weekend Beach Village is open from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th on Brighton Beach.

What is the minimum age for participants?

The minimum age for Brighton Marathon participants is 18 on race day.
The minimum age for the BM10k is 17 on race day.
The minimum age for the BM Ride is 16 age on race day.
Mini Mile participants must be aged between 7 and 17 on race day.

We CANNOT make any exceptions to the above.

Any participants under the age of 18 will need to gain permission by a parent or guardian via the registration form.
