POSTPONED TO 20 SEPTEMBER 2020

Following the escalation of coronavirus, we have been taking advice from official bodies, while also working closely with other mass event organisers to understand the situation for the industry, our participants and supporters.

It is with heavy hearts that we deliver the disappointing news that the Brighton Marathon Weekend has been postponed until Friday 18th September – Sunday 20th September 2020. (Brighton Marathon, BM10k and BM Ride taking place on Sunday 20th September.)

You can read our full statement here.

If you signed up to be a part of the Volunteer Team before the postponement announcement, we sincerely hope you can still support us in September. We will be in touch with more information.

Baggage Care Team

We require a strong and energetic team to support us with participant baggage. Participants drop off a kit bag at the start of the Brighton Marathon and BM10k (Preston Park). The bags are then transported on a series of vehicles to the Finish Area where they are to be sorted, ready for runners to collect once they cross the finish line. As well as reuniting runners with their bags, we need a helpful, friendly team to support the runners and congratulate them on their running achievements.
