We are planning to stage Brighton Marathon Weekend | The Edit on the famous Hove Lawns on Sunday 11th October 2020 for our 2020 participants and new sign-ups.
Take on a fast, flat, entertainment filled 10k (6.2 mile) course that loops out to Shoreham Port, before weaving back along the scenic Hove seafront. This is a unique opportunity to take part in a COVID-19 compliant running event this year in Brighton & Hove.

We appreciate that over the past few months you have all endured your own personal challenges and upheaval to your everyday lives during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, you have all shared one common goal; to come together with your fellow runners and finish the journey you have spent months training and fundraising for at Brighton Marathon Weekend.
If you choose to continue your challenge in 2020 with us, you will be taking on one of the following according to the options made available to you in your email:
Our transferred 2020 Brighton Marathon registrants will take part in a 20-mile virtual challenge.
Choose to do this as either 1 x virtual 20 mile or 2 x virtual 10 miles or 4 x virtual 5 miles between 30th September – 11th October.
Then complete your marathon on the fast, flat 10k (6.2 mile) course on Sunday October 11 2020 alongside our 10k participants.FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THE VIRTUAL
If you are transferring your place from the 2020 BM10k, you will take on 10k at The Edit on Sunday 11 October. Finish alongside our marathon runners who will be completing their 26.2 mile distance here.
The course is fast and flat, giving you the perfect opportunity for a PB.

2020 registrants in the BM10k or Brighton Marathon who still want to achieve their Brighton Marathon or BM10k distance can do so as a full virtual challenge, from wherever you are, on a route you choose. Those taking on the virtual Brighton Marathon can choose from various distance options or do the full 26.2 miles in one go.
